Review of Unturned
The (Somewhat) Biased Unturned Review

Physical Qualities 7/10
The game has great graphics and sound for a game that was supposedly designed by a single person.
Everything moves as it should and there is little clipping and other such errors and with a graphics style similar to that of Minecraft, I find that I, personally, quite like it. My only real complaint would be that it is somewhat poorly optimized, requiring my machine to run hotter and louder than it should in order to run this game at a decent framerate.
This game is sub-par in terms of sound variety, though it makes up for it in quality with decent music and fitting sounds for most of the actions. The various sounds of the game WILL grow repetitive after a while.
Gameplay 9/10
As mentioned before above, the game is somewhat poorly optimized as of the writing of this review; with my computer running much hotter and louder than it should for a game like this.
The controls are simple and easy to remember. The core of this game gameplay is similar to that of Minecraft and DayZ combined, with the building and main controls of Minecraft with the survival and inventory management aspects of DayZ. The game also contains minor elements of the Crysis weapon modification system, with the player being able to find various modifications made to them (scopes, suppressors, etc) and remove them in order to place them on other weapons.
Now onto what you actually do in the game: you survive by finding food and water while also avoiding/killing any zombies in your path. You find food by either finding it scattered around the map or by growing it yourself with the choice of cooking it or not, with water either being found bottled in the form of water bottles and juice/soda, or in the form of lakes where the player must find a container to store the water or to just drink it as is.
Fighting is the simple point and click that is similar to that of Minecraft, with the player being able to choose between a variety of melee and ranged weapons, such as an axe or a rifle. The weapon modification system only works with guns (so no, you can't suppress your katana), with scopes, bayonets, and a limited number of magazines and clips that must be reloaded with bullets found scattered around.
Replayability 7/10
I personally find the replayability of this game to be similar to that of Minecraft: what you see the first time is what you will have for the rest of the game. A zombie will just be "another" zombie after a while and surviving will grow tedious after a duration of time due to the lack of anything really "new" happening.
Hack Power 0(1?)/10
Nothing so far, and I'm not nearly good enough at coding to even try.
Overall Rating 7/10
I personally like the game and recommend it to anyone that is either a fan of Minecraft or DayZ, and since the game is free, they won't have to lose anything other than a couple hours of download/playing.
