Caesary

Here is a nice way to get as much resources and troops as you want, in less then one minute

First of this can be hardly regarded as "hacks" by the classical meaning of the word, those process much more resemble glitches.

3 notes before we start: 1. Make sure you have enough food production to sustain those new troops. 2. Don't over do it, it's easy to get noticed when abusing this too much. 3. You always can dismiss some of the created troops if you made too much, they will give you nice resources.

Alright, lets do this:
1. Start CE, we will be searching for 1x 4byte.
2. Hire a new hero, the cheapest will do, as we will dismiss him later.
3. Move to that hero stack of around 10 troops you would like to dupe, in 1 stack.
4. Search for the amount of troops he has, and change it, until you find it in CE, between 2-4 results.
5. Change them all to the amount you want.
6. Move them all to your city.
7. Dismiss hero.
8. Go pwn some stuff with your new, free, insta maid troops! (broken image removed)

Note: We sacrifice a hero because the way this game works, the game always keeps track of the total amount of troops you got so if you change the hero's troops from 5 to 5000 and move them to your city, your game counts the hero's troops as -4995, this can be fixed with some work on your behalf, however it is not trival, and I found that hiring a cheap hero then dismissing him works much better then fixing this negative troop count thingy, so always remember to use this on a hero you can dismiss, not on your good one.

Hmm, this actually works. I haven't tried with anything more than 100 troops but it's pretty lawlzy. Also, there's this post on the Kongregate forums that can be found here.

I am miself a software developer. I do not cheat. I am in no way involved with Caesary or Kongregate.
I pay to play this game either by filling my 2 question survey (username, password) on my paypal account either by doing surveys (boring as hell).
This is a personal opinion and it may or may not be true.
Everytime you purchase gold with kreds there is a message sent on the client side from the Kong kred API to the Caesary client.
And i repeat: THE PURCHASE IS CONFIRMED VIA A CLIENT SIDE MESSAGE FROM KONG TO CAESARY.

Anyone knows that this can be easily exploited with minimal coding knowledge. Some can write a simple script that will call that special URL with a ludicrous amount of gold, then just use the Caesary client to purchase whatever he wants or unlimited number of goats.

So yea, i dont believe Caesary was hacked since Caesary is just a client displaying mesages from their closed source server. I DO believe that this KONG KRED API ? PURCHASE ? CLIENT SIDE MESSAGE TO CAESARY CLIENT was compromised thus resulting in possibility of having umlimited amount of gold.

This can easily be fixed by Kong by sending the purchase confirmation and amount of gold via server side http calls.

My 2 cents.

And yes. This ruined the game for me a bit. I do expect this issue to be resolved asap.

*facepalm* Why does every whiner have to sound like my regular Username??
Anyways, expect any hacks we found (including Sunny's, Sunny's, oh and look, Sunny was our only hack for this crappy game) to be possibly patched. I doubt it though.

The more useful application of this is getting massive amounts of troops and immediately dismissing them to acquire nearly infinite resources. This is kind of destroying the resource economies on all the servers, and the Kongregate forumgoers are pretty angry.

For those who cant get it to work, make sure you follow exactly what I said, including dismissing that hero after you are done.
If you still cant get it to work after that, Ill make a video.

I really wish you guys hadn't pointed this one out.

A lot of people in the game, including myself, have spent a lot of money on the game itself.

This isn't just some innocent fun little hack, this is something that has, in the last day alone, ruined the game for the most part, and caused hundreds of people who have spent money to lose out.

Cheating in this multiplayer game is rather like a slap in the face to everyone who has spent weeks or months building up and building up to get ahead in the game. Now anyone can come along and wipe them out in one attack.

So yes, you may have just been having fun, and for a single player game, if you want to cheat, that's your business, but you financially HURT many people. We will not be able to get our money back from Kongregate or from Caesary (Based out of China).

Again, real shame you had to do this.
