Well this helps for most of the achieves, but once you get up high you end up in areas that require you to jump on lava to get further, and lava still causes damage.
I got caught underneath the edge of a block so often... Gotta love square hitboxes...
Also: Secret medal is for finding the 5 idle poses. Just stand still and it randomly chooses one each time.

phreneticus's aob changes it to add the damage so i tried this i think it i changed the damage to 255 or something and i have no idea what the "c" does but i did this and hit a few enemy's and the health seems to have increased by heaps, because i started this right at the bottom and just leaving him alone to ride the lava he's gone up to 700 meters and is still going, and during his trip he "drowned" several times too (got trapped and lava went over his head)
update: while i was typing this message he's gone up to 1000 meters

The AoB is strange... sometimes, the lava doesn't affect me at all and I can bounce off of it or even submerge myself with no ill effects, and sometimes it takes half my life and kills me in two hits. I seem to notice this behaviour after getting the heart powerup, so maybe that's the problem. I have at times gotten 5, maybe 10 hearts and not seen this error, so perhaps multiple variables are involved.
Edit: I just got one-hit killed by the lava. Strange.

when you get the heart powerup it puts you back to max health (the amount of health you started with) thus the damage from the lava is visible, and when you hit an enemy it times your current health by 255 (i think) so avoid the hearts and if you do get one quickly get hit by an enemy a few times and you should be back to haveing an amount of health so high that nothing can stop you.
one hit killed by the lava? weird.
in a stunning twist everything changed, the once evil minions began healing our brave hero while the hearts that once healed turned explosive, exploding on impact and greatly reducing health.
