I know, old thread but i want to share the method to unlimited cats:

What counts, is the exact amount of drops. So you have to search for each drop. Let a cat drop once, search for 1. Drop a 2nd time, search for 2 and so on.
Also if the UI count's up because of a bonus, don't look at it. Continue counting your real drops.

This will give you the correct address.
