MAA - hax - easy win

tried it, noting will show the directory (let alone the xml directory), all i see are unknowns.....
 

another thing i will be missing out........doesnt work for me, all i get is default nothing else.....ty anyway
 

The Charles website says: 

Requests where the path of the request is unknown (such as unproxied SSL connections) are now shown as '<unknown>' rather than '<default>' in the Structure view.

Can you go to Proxy->Proxy Settings, and under SSL, add the location *.*  Also, quickly verify Enable SSL Proxying is checked.

Next, Click Proxy -> Recording Settings and under the Include tab, add a new rule, and enter *maa* next to Host, and leave verything else blank. Lastly, make sure ONLY only *maa* is checked, nothing else.

I believe from here, you can clear the firefox cache and fire up MAA. Watch charles to see if anything shows up.


Here's how to use notepad++ to search and replace things inside tags.

If you want to change all <inCombatDropRateHit>0.??</inCombatDropRateHit> to <inCombatDropRateHit>1000.16</inCombatDropRateHit>, do this: 
 
CTRL-H to bring up replace
Find what:       <inCombatDropRateHit>[^<>]+</inCombatDropRateHit>
Replace With: <inCombatDropRateHit>1000.16</inCombatDropRateHit>

Make sure Regular expressoin is checked under Search Mode in the bottom left of the Replace window.

Hm, I managed to get 1000 gold from 4-starring mission 1.12.4 by changing <HardCurrency>1</HardCurrency> to 1000 in mission.xml. There was no CVE but the gold was of course gone after a reload. I also made it give me 10.000 xp for my agent.

I wish I had tried purchasing something with the gold before reloading, because now I can't replicate the trick anymore. I've tried it on several different missions but it just gives the default 100 xp and 1 gold no matter what I change it to in the xml. It only worked that one time, strangely.


Still no luck on altering the gala spins. I think I managed to identify all of the chapter 12 deploy spins (mystery), but changing the weight values doesn't seem to do anything. I changed all entries, in all of them for each mission, to a weight value of 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 92. Meaning I should be getting the reward with weight 92 almost every time, but the result in game still seems to be completely random.

But it's difficult to determine what's going on with deploy spins since you can't see the rewards before you click. I'll play around with the gala spins some more but shit, it's a clusterfuck of random numbers to figure out.

I am able to force drop in 12.2 . I changed 0.03 to .25 and 0.25 to .3 
and .01 with .25 , getting 1 cp for boss and 3 for epic boss everyturn. 
I also changed <weight>3<weight> to 27 and 27 to 3

Yeah it gets exhausting after a while.
 

Dude, which strings did you change exactly? If we can figure out which one is the 5 Cp for the first boss, and the 10 CP for Viper, then we can farm 15 CP each run for only 20 energy.

Did you alter them only in 112.xml or also in ab.xml?

only in 112 . I replaced all <weight>0.03<weight>  
I thought that would be maximum cp but it was for minimum

try modifying those .05 values . The last ones . I suspect those are the ones for maximum Cps. Its 5:00 am here and I got exam today, so I wil be taking a break now.

I can't see any patterns man, the loot I get is totally random every time no matter what I change.

Naw it's still random.

Did 4 runs, 2 on challenge mode and 2 on normal. While I did get a decent amount of CP, it wasn't consistent at all.

1st run (normal):
3 CP from Zemo
Damage Amp from Viper

2nd run (challenge)
3 CP from Zemo
3 CP from Viper

3rd run (normal):
Iso crystal from Zemo
Iso crystal from Viper

4th run (challenge):
Shredder (trash consumable)
Chaotic grenade (consumable)


I even tried changing all gala weights to 0.01 and leaving just one of them at 0.92. I tried setting one of them to 1000.15 and various other ridiculous numbers, but nothing seems to make a difference.

I think either we need to make changes elsewhere in addition to the gala in mission.xml, or the roulettes are server-side and can't be altered.

In the old force drop days, to change shield points to something else (you might change unstable iso now) you would change all the values in ab.xml, level.xml and client.xml
