Homestar Runner is using Ruffle to keep the old content alive. 

As for KH, I'm pretty sure this is the end. I'm thinking about putting together a bot to scrape every page, build out a static site, and serve everything from a super cheap CDN or something. We're averaging about 1 post every 2 months, so $100/mo in servers seems a bit much :P

Anyway, let me know if anyone is still alive out there and if the site's still working for you.

It's a public service you have here, I never got the gist of AOBs, pointers or Iframe targeting so I still come back here sometimes if there's some table I need.

I saw it, I often use it along Newgrounds Player and others.
there's even efforts of offline preservation, programs like Flashpoint that allow you to download the entire flash program in your PC, entire libraries at once if you're into it (and make your own in the process)

may I suggest you making a sort of all-in-one gameshark-like program that automaticallly detects variables and pointers and etcetera, giving functions for freezing/hacking values?
And SOLs editing, let's not forget that,
Better idea, if the tables are obsolete(due to the emulators having a different running environment) why not make a Ruffle designed from the ground up to hack the game?

And who do you propose would write a piece of software like that?

It's not a one person's job, obviously, but one can plant the seeds for others to carry on.
Who knows? If the efforts are coordinated, it may be more productive than playing "Whack-A-Game" like Konghack has been doing.

Just wanted to hop in and say I use KH probably a few times a year, honestly. It's been very helpful in the past and if this is indeed the end, I wanted to express appreciation for this. I never got into using the trainers but the Cheat Engine stuff has served me well for years, so thanks to anyone who was a poster of cheats, and for hosting this website for all this time. :)

Considering the top 25 most recently active topics include some from 2022, I think it's safe to say replacing the forum with a static site wouldn't make much of a difference. So yeah, $100/mo is pretty crazy ^^ Thanks for keeping the site alive all these years!

It would probably be possible to have archive.org host it as well, though I'm not sure they'd accept all the attachments etc. A couple of things would also have to change to preserve everything, e.g., trainer-only hacks ("This hack is only available in the KongHack Ultra Trainer") should show the AoBs.

It may also be nice to have links prominently shown for the Discord server and Steam group, in case anyone wants to reconnect. I'm rarely active on either platform, but feel free to send me an email: kongregatehack at tuta.io

I kinda only learned about this site after Flash died, but I still remained on Kongregate doing the BOTD each day. And then there was a time when those annoying RPG Maker looking games were in constant rotation, several of them per week. I forgot their name right now, but there was no way I was gonna play that slop constantly to get each badge. Somehow through that frustration I found Konghack and learned about the Ultra Trainer that I used to finally reach level 75 on my profile.

Sadly not long after I learned about it, Kongregate went through an update of sorts and the Ultra Trainer simply stopped working never to be updated again.
After that I dabbled a bit with cheat engine guides when I needed it on a game to game basis, but never really got into it too much. At this point I have all BOTD that are on rotation and haven't actually played a game on Kong in a long long time.

So yeah, I haven't been active on this forum during it's golden era, but I still felt like dropping a hello when I saw this thread today.

By update do you mean the Ruffle support?
 

No, something happened to Kongregate in the background that broke the Ultra Trainer. I believe you could no longer login or something. Been a while, I don't remember exactly what the issue was, but I remember a error popup every time I tried using it and eventually I just stopped.

Okay, now it did so I'll edit it out...

It's crazy to see this still around, which is good anyway. I got back after trying out some classics like Thing-Thing and Lucky Tower.
I was thinking, maybe the website can be redone to be more like a forum and an archive? We could get into trying to hack Ruffle and the other Flash emulators, maybe some other indie games that used to be Flash or so.

On another note, can someone help me out with cheating Thing-Thing 3? Send me a PM, I tried KongregateHack but I think he's away for now, or doesn't read PMs.

Oddly enough Kongregate just gave me two games this week for BoTD that I didn't have the Hard/Impossible badge on. So I decided to check out this forum again to see if there are some methods to get them easy and I found for both and they worked fine. I was a bit nostalgic for a moment there. 

Oh, how nostalgia works. I've not checked here for a while and now, just reading through the latest posts, has given me such a dose of nostalgia. These were good times. AoB, 4byte*8, just opened CE for the first time in several years. Will probably start banging on about AoB to my son, just for the sheer fun of it all.
It was a lovely ride, and I appreciated it.

Oh shit, it definitely was an amazing time to be alive when forums were still a thing. I don't regret wasting nights trying to understand what was going on in all the tutorials and guides. I've only been occasionally fiddling around with CE on various games on Steam for my buddies.
