Why the double post? It doesn't make your point clearer.

And no, it doesn't. Yourdoingitwrong. When you change the value, make sure to first make it a multiplication of 8, and then add 6. (e.g. 8*8+6=64+6=70) It isn't that hard...

I think he ment he crashed when he tried to change the value.
Of course you have to follow the same rule when you change the value.
EG if you want 10 000 gold your value must be 80 006 = (10 000 * 8 ) + 6. If you change it to just 80 000 or some other invalid value the game will crash, yea.

Just consider anyway to be precise, since if you miss the right number (like if you don't add 6) the game crash and the save data is deleted (nice one devs  (broken image removed) )

edit: oh and btw just freeze the health at 500 (4006) and rush till end
