Sadly, there is no faster way. If you search for  96 04 00 08 ?? 05 00, you'll get ~100 results and changing them all to true makes you unable to play the game. However, playing the game through legit would take an average time of 20 minutes and this method is still way faster.

Problem is that you got the medal for activating all four of the cores before you got the medal for activating the cores on planet 2. Man this sucks, I've got like none of the medals lately (broken image removed)

The "all four cores" and "reconnect the data beam" occur simultaneously I think; Phreneticus' method works imo.  I did it legit and got them in the correct order (1, 2, 3) though, so... yeah.  Never saw the popup for "11" so you might be able to argue that the order for the last 2 isn't important.

There are only 6 puzzles, and they were pretty simple.  Perhaps wait for a walkthrough for this one, someone is working on a video already.
