Yea, there has been a code change, and all of the values don't work anymore. I'm not great at bytecode, but I'll try to have updated values here in a bit.

3. Change 8 to 7, reverse and search again
4. Add found address as a pointer with offset 05

That's probably just your lack of intelligence. Root variables have nothing to do with you having masters in computer science.
There is a pretty neat tutorial on how to use them and if you can't use them after reading that...

I in the beginning didn't understand them neither but after i got to the 3rd one i started to understand and i use the same tutorial that phren said you to use. Now i can find and use roots without any problem :lol: they are just as easy as eating cake...mhmh cake!
