It is only possible on Bonus Level 3 7 so far as I can tell.

Actually, it's a lot easier in Bonus Level 7. I tried over and over in Bonus 3, and never had any luck getting the medal, but I got it first try on Bonus 7. I was only connected to 27 blocks at the time, so perhaps the 35-block requirement has been changed or something.
