Gold and stars are both 4bytes*1, haven't checked lives, but I'm assuming it's the same. You must do gold again in every level.

So how exactly do I get extra gold with cheat engine?

I tried 4 bytes x 1 and i didn't work , man you sure it was x1?

I just tested both of them again, and they're working as 4bytes*1. Maybe you're using the wrong process. Firefox is plugin container.exe, and with Chrome it's the Chrome.exe below rundll32.exe.

Gold was 8b x 1 when I played yesterday, try that instead of 4b x1

Warning to all about hacking the stars:  It won't work with just the editing.  The game has a method of finding out how many stars you should have "max", so when you just up and buy the upgrades, the game will only take certain ones, up to the total number of stars you've "earned".

Just use the money hack, then buy abilities as you can afford them.

100 Stars :

Change the AOB and start a new game then go to upgrades and press reset. It will give you 100 Stars. Enjoy!

It won't work with old savegames, i'll try to find something for that too.

You need to change both AOB's, some monsters have HP higher than 255 so it's stored in a shortint hence the 2nd AOB.

can anyone send new AOB's?? theese are not working anymore

Should work on v1.06. All AoB you must use before you start the game.

Gold is actually 8 bytes * 1 at the start of the level. After that it is not as static.

Buying adds money:

Upgrade adds stars:

Do these hacks still work?

4bytes X1 still works. (gold and stars)
just make sure you select the correct process.
