Ragnarok Support reloaded

OK - the program is the same, but here are the greatest hits on tips from the old-old forum.

Getting Started

First of all, install Ragnarok Beta 8

Then, install Ragnarok Beta 14


Make sure you have Microsoft Dot.Net Framework 3.5

Errors sometimes occur when you run Rag from a shortcut - run it directly from the exe file if possible.

Also, Update your flash version.

Sill having problems? Some have had success with version 13. Here are previous versions:

There is no one version that works well for all. Hopefully, you can find something above that does the trick for you.

Red/Yellow Light in Chat Fixes:

First Fix: Yellow light

1. Close Rag
2. Open up IE, go to Tools > Delete Browsing History and then click on Temporary internet files
3. Retry in Rag

Second Fix
1. Open up a game in Rag (and get yellow light)
2. Open up an other game in your regular web browser (chat in Rag will disconnect)
3. Maximize the Rag window, at the bottom of the chat window, click reconnect and you should get a green light.

this actually helped me get rag to work, thanks

i got one problem though, IE keeps opening now and saying "IE can't download"
it is popping up every so often

On some games the "reload chat" method won't work to get badges...even though the light is green.

Games like Super Apocalypse need that you enter on Rag with a green light the first time, if you don't...then close the window and open the game again, the "reload chat" method won't give you the badges...and you'll be mighty pissed off.. (broken image removed)

i got one problem though, IE keeps opening now and saying "IE can't download"
it is popping up every so often

Indeed ._. I'm quite sure it has something to do with IE7, it worked fine while I was still using IE6. :S

Well... IE sucks balls anyway. Firefox, Safari.... Chrome... all are WAY better than IE.

yes it does, but what pissed me off was that i was using firefox, (and rag) and IE kept opening for some reason

If they are like me, they will be very skeptical to try something like that.

You have to either be desperate or an enthusiast to give virtualization a try. It takes a lot of system resources. That's why I have Quad Core 8GB 1066Mhz Ram systems! But then again, I run 3 or 4 VMs at a time...

TIM, do you work for a government agency? WHERE did you manage to get all of that gear together? Amazing stuff!

Oh, and Rag uses IE's browser interface...so the fact that IE is opening probably has something to do with that.
