Potion lasts forever works great. Only problem is if you stack speed too much you can never die to get the badge. Trick is to avoid hitting monsters and you'll have 650 speed at 65000 which means lava rises faster than you and you'll die from that allowing you to get the badge

Or you can just change "Misc. special effects" in the options to turn it on/off (depending on wich one of the two AOBs you use).
