I downloaded the sol file for battalion: ghosts and when I loaded the game it didn't give me any of the badges or an option to continue from the save file. There isn't a button to report a sol that doesn't do anything, so I wondered what I should do.

Great question. wait maybe a week or so while i bother tim to make a upvote/downvote or report button for sol files. in the meantime you can always use the Array of Byte hacks for the game.

Are you sure you've put the .sol in the right place?
Better start the game and make a save, then quit your browser, then search for .SOLs modified today in the %AppData%\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\<RANDOMstuff>\chat.kongregate.com folder to find the file you should replace.
I have gone to find myself. If I return before I get back, please hold me here until I arrive.
I had a save that I replaced. However, I still didn't have a continue option. It might be that the location for the .sol is out of date? Because I did make sure that there was a file in that location. I closed the game, replaced the .sol file, and then loaded the page again, from the badge link.
