Undertale

I was watching a youtubers playthrough of Undertale, but this particular youtuber reads faster than I do, so I missed a lot of the text. so I figured "fuck it" and went ahead and picked up a copy of Undertale with the intention of just pulling all the text out. The process is fairly trivial, and I may do a video on it later, but I thought that some of the text was pretty funny. In particular, this line:

 Living in a world like this, where people can simply cheat out the answers from the code... your impatience has REALLY damaged you, hasn't it? 

The games made in game maker (obviously) but what that ultimately means is that chasing down variables at runtime is a bit of a nuisance. So Im not sure if I will make any real cheats for undertale, but ive had fun hacking together my little string dumper.

well developers are starting to get pissed off at data miners ruining the game w/o even playing it

ex. the binding of issac:rebirth

at a certain point in the game, if you hack during the fights, you're gonna have a bad time.

Undertale HD is also apparently going to be "coming into the light." I think that will be more hackable as long as they don't follow the same exact storyline that they did for Undertale.

Undertale and other games with good story i usually try to do legitamantly... if only there wasnt this ONE part that completly destroys me
