Slightly off topic, based on the rabble what is the best way to indicate that say an AOB hack doesn't work (anymore)?
Is it to send the original author a PM on this site? And hope they login to get that, in the meanwhile others try to make it work and fail?

Or to just downvote the AOB and let the person know that way and they can maybe fix it (others will know it is suspect)?

Or to find the topic in the forum and add a new message there and don't downvote anything?

 

when a hack gets downvoted, the person that submitted it gets a notification. most of the people that submit hacks will confirm if the hack works or not whenever they get such a notification.

that is what i do, and you would be surprised how many people ive caught (and banned) who downvoted a working aob just for points

if the hack has multiple parts in it and only a specific part doesnt work, then it would probably be better to PM them and explain which part no longer works.
